NSC Incident Investigation and Safety Management Leadership

The Incident Investigation and Safety Management Leadership is a new combined five day course offered by the National Safety Council which introduces the key aspects of incident reporting and investigation and provides management with the knowledge to recognize and assess their role in leading the implementation of an effective safety management system to ensure a high level of performance. The new training program will cover in detail the incident investigation process and guides participants in determining the root causes of the incidents as well as establishing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Moreover, the program provides an overview of the four essential characteristics in the journey to Safety Excellence through Management leadership and commitment; Employee involvement; Measurement systems and Continuous improvement process of the safety management process

Assessment and Certification
Assessment comprises exercises and a multiple choice exam followed by practical basement. Candidates will be awarded Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Certificate from National Safety and from the ASSP.
Safety Officers, Safety Wardens, Process Personnel, Safety Committee members, supervisors, and other who might be directly or indirectly involved in this area.
1. Applicant must meet necessary standards of English language. 2. Applicants are preferred to complete an IOSH Working Safely or equivalent course.
