Introduction

The NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter II course is designed to build upon the knowledge and skills acquired at the Fire Fighter I level. Based on NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications (2019 Edition), this program prepares firefighters to perform advanced firefighting operations, support incident command activities, conduct fire prevention functions, and provide leadership on the fireground.
The course combines classroom instruction and practical exercises to develop competencies in fire suppression tactics, water supply management, foam operations, fire cause determination, fire inspections, rescue operations, and crew supervision.
Upon successful completion, participants will be able to perform the duties of a Fire Fighter II and support emergency response operations in accordance with internationally recognized fire service standards.
